Annual Spring Concert
The 2025 Spring Concert is scheduled for Sat, May 31, at the historic Bardavon Opera House

-
All dancers and caregivers must enter and leave through the STAGE DOOR where they will sign in and sign out with Ms. Fern or Ms. Mary.

Caregivers are permitted to drop off and pick up their dancers in the dressing room, but may NOT remain backstage unless they are one of Ms. Fern’s dressing room volunteers.
-
Dancers MUST remain in their assigned dressing rooms at all times. You may not, at any time, go to another area or dressing room for make-up, food, clothing, or to play. Even bathroom breaks require permission!
-
Please bring something to do while you are in your dressing room. Homework, books, card games, tablet, etc . . . .
-
Keep your dressing room neat. Please pick/wipe up anything you drop or spill.
-
Dancers, in their words and actions, must show respect for the backstage volunteers, the Ballet Arts Staff and your fellow dancers.
-
Lower School II level dancers and up are not permitted to leave the theater between the matinee and evening performances. Preparation for Ballet and Lower School I dancers may leave the theater with their caregiver during intermission.
-

No running, horseplay or touching Bardavon equipment or property. Young dancers and non-dancers must be attended to at all times.

Shoes MUST be worn at all times and in all areas of the building.
COSTUMES
-
Please sew costumes. Do not pin.
-
All female dancers who are over age eight MUST wear a “nudie” even if they do not have a costume change. We recommend a fabric strap, not a plastic strap. You can buy “nudie” leotards from our online dancewear store.
-
Please put the dancer’s name in all costumes, shoes, accessories, and everything brought to the theater.
-
Make sure you have ALL headpieces, ALL shoes, and/or costume accessories; make sure to have all tights needed such as pink, black, skin color, etc. – please make sure to bring extra pairs of all tights!
